We hired Flavio LaRocca & Sons, Inc. in the Fall of 2009, to expand our driveway, replace our driveway walls, re-do our walkway with pavers and update our steps with natural stone and pavers,  His team also replaced our side steps and put in a side patio of pavers as well. We were so impressed with the workers, office staff, as well as Flavio LaRocca the owner. Flavio came to the work several times a day, helped on the job, and was available to us whenever we had questions.  Also, his team was very impressive.  They arrived at the jobsite on time, worked all day, and even came on the weekend. In addition, the office staff was very helpful and responsive to all our needs.  My Husband and I are very happy with the outcome of the project and would highly recommend Flavio LaRocca & Sons, Inc. for masonry and landscape work.

Dear Flavio,

I simply had to write this letter.  I have dealt with many contractors in my life and I have NEVER written a letter to express my complete satisfaction.  I'm sure we have all had negative experiences with contractors who we would love to write a negative letter about, but this experience was quite opposite.

Your men completed the job in a timely and thorough manner.  They cleaned up the work site at the end of the job so my yard was back to what it was prior to your arrival.  But that is not all I would like to say, my front steps are just shy of a masterpiece.  Everyone in the neighborhood is talking about them.  Random people are driving by and giving "thumbs up" signs.  It really brings a smile to your face.

I guess when you tell someone you are going to do a job, you really do it, and do it right!  Your word means a lot.  In the middle of the work we ran into a few things that were somewhat unexpected and your solutions in order to "complete" the job were absolutely beautiful.

We realize that you went ABCD "Above and Beyond the Call of Duty" and we really appreciate it.  Simply stated, I have never had a contractor that held true to his price even when it ultimately involved doing more than what might have been expected to complete the job.  Only someone who takes such pride in their work and their reputation would do such a thing.

I would recommend your men and your company to anyone.  In fact, I know at least two people who have already reached out to you for more work.  Congratulations on being the kind of company you can really feel good about.

Dear Mr. LaRocca:

Please accept my very sincere thanks and appreciation for the correction of a very serious flooding problem that resulted from the street resurfacing that was done in front of my home.

I appreciate very much your immediate response to my concern. You inspected the problem, recommended the installation of a drainage system, and also recommended the replacement of the entire driveway with Black Top. Our initial conference was greatly enhanced by a professional presentation of licenses, certificates of liability insurance, schematic diagrams and specifications of the drainage system, and photographs and references regarding your past work performance.

I appreciate even more, however, the quality of work that was done - from demolition and excavation to the final application of Black Top. From beginning to end, you and your crew demonstrated considerable respect for my property and the adjacent property of neighbors.

Yesterday's torrential down pouring of rain provided an invaluable test for the evaluation of your workmanship; and, needless to say, I am more than pleased with the results. There was absolutely no flooding in either my garage or the basement den.
